The IPÊTERRAS, from its creation in 1997 until present day, always valued and looked for the participation of volunteers and interns. The Institute already received volunteers from the United States and is counting today with the collaboration of many people on a voluntary basis for tasks like fund raising, communication or "permaculture" work on the farm (Roça Permanente).

The exchange is part of the Permaculture Principles. This is not only the exchange of products and energy but also the exchange of knowledge and experiences.
